The film is darkly comic. Combining a vibrant colour choice and a darker sense of dread was central to the brief.
Taking my cue from indie comedy posters, I fixed on yellow as the main colour.
The stair motif is at the core of Fight or Flight.
I drew on the work of M.C. Escher when designing the steps for the poster.
The key art had to work in a variety of contexts, such as festival submissions and video thumbnails.
